Fish2spear was inspired by the story of Samer, a Fisherman and Spearfisher that spends his days off searching for local fish species out in the sea.
Spending most of his time out under the sun, he quickly realised the necessity of UV protected gear.
While on the search for fishing apparel, Samer noticed that current designs in the market were mainly plain or lacked designs that feature fish he came across in local waters. This inspired a drive to produce functional designs, that are more modern, vibrant and relevant to our waters.
The company’s logo was inspired from a statement that pushes his drive to fish while out in the waters, “That’s a Fish I want to Spear.” In Short,“Fish2Spear.”
The journey started with featuring a few popular fish, now showcasing 18 different designs of some of the most prominent fish in UAE and the GCC. In addition, Fish2Spear introduced five designs dedicated to Spearo's and one for Scuba divers.
Post success of our Long Sleeve T-shirts, Fish2Spear has expanded to produce more apparel, such as the Poncho Towel, a Fish2spear Cap, as well as a wide variety of Board/Fishing Shorts Collections. Our latest Cotton T-shirts that feature Freediving Designs, are models designed to be worn on regular days out.
